Methodology
Citrus Studios considers web development and marketing as two sides of the same coin. They make two questionnaires available to the potential client. The first seeks to understand the exact nature of the challenges and problems the client is encountering. The second is to provide a suggestion for addressing the problems. As a result, the galleries often present the personal stories that the project addressed.
Content
Searching the content is intuitive. The opening page has a “Behind The Peel” button which presents their organization. The menu is strait forward with a “Juicery” button which opens news items relative to the organization and its CEO. The text blocks are clear and concise with a lot of white space.
Visuals
The basic graphic presentation is smooth, sophisticated and symmetrical. A light orange pastel theme with a lot of white space, permeates the site. This creates a calming effect which invites a leisurely stroll through the site, captivating the attention of the user. High quality animated videos to explain their services are scattered throughout the site.

I had a design concept in mind when I was looking to redesign my company’s website. After searching high and low and looking at proposals from various agencies, I decided to go with Citrus Studios after speaking to Kalika. She had great suggestions to help turn my idea into reality, keeping in mind our modest budget. We had a short timeframe to work with as I wanted the site to be launched within a month and Kalika assured me that the timeframe was do-able. She also addressed all of my concerns to my satisfaction.
The website is now completed. I’m very happy with the CMS in place as it’s super easy to use and I’m also very happy with the work Citrus did.
The box of cookies Citrus sent to my office at the completion of the project was totally the icing on the cake. Thank you Citrus team!

I approached Citrus Studios over a year ago to create a website for our restaurant brand, California Chutney. As with any project, I spoke to many website developers before signing with Citrus. Throughout developing the website we explored many different directions and gradually came to a clean website infrastructure that allows us to constantly update with new content, which is very important for us.
Kalika’s team was always extremely organized and punctual. This is crucial when developing and designing a project with so many facets. It was refreshing to work with a team that always approaches tasks with a bright and positive attitude.

It was a pleasure working with Citrus Studios. Their team is very knowledgeable about the web, design, programming, SEO, and social media marketing. The staff is extremely friendly and organized, and made sure my custom WordPress website came out exactly how I wanted it. Citrus not only created my website, but also helped with my branding and social media marketing as well. They gave lots of web advice, which really helped when it came to creating our website. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Citrus Studios is AMAZING. I hired Citrus Studios to assist me with the web development and design of a custom eccomerce site. From the first conversation which took place in November 2013 with Kalika to the present time – the service provided to me has been beyond top notch.
What has been most impressive to me has been the attention to detail and the follow through and follow up on all the multiple tasks that had to be handled from the beginning until the day of launching my website. Kalika and her talented team managed all details with such a high level of professionalism and also creativity. No item fell through the cracks.
